Overnight Excursions
Overnight at the Terelj Camp - 2 Days / 1 Night
Terelj Camp is located approximately 200km from Terelj Hotel. The camp is carefully chosen by us for its wilderness location, and for the unique insight that offers into Mongolia’s natural environment.
- Arrival at Terelj Hotel.
- Professional guide and driver will pick up the guests from the hotel after their breakfast.
- After 3 hour car journey to the chosen location, guests will be served traditional Mongolian barbeque lunch in beautifully decorated traditional Mongolian get (yurt) where they will be spending the night.
- Lunch will be served in the guest gers
- After the well earned rests guests will have number of activities to choose from. The activities include:
- Horseback ride through the surrounding area
- Camelback ride through the surrounding area
- Mongolian archery session for target shooting
- Rifle firing session for target shooting
- Mongolian style dinner will be served with Mongolian evening entertainment. FYI: Mongolian entertainments will include horse head fiddle session, throat singing or contortionist session.
- Next morning after the breakfast guests will be driven back to the hotel
Nomadic Life Experience - 2 days / 1 Night
The Mongolian nomad family will be set up by the Terelj Hotel and will be located approximately 200km from the hotel.
- Arrival at Terelj Hotel.
- Professional guide and driver will pick up the guests from the hotel after their breakfast.
- After 3 hour car journey to the chosen family the guest will have a choice of 2 types of accommodation. Choices are:
- Stay in the family's ger
- Stay in the own separate gers
- The family will serve Traditional Mongolian lunch.
- The guest will have opportunity to experience authentic nomadic lifestyle.
- The family will serve Traditional Mongolian dinner.
- Next morning after the breakfast guests will be driven back to the hotel.
Adventure Trip to Khar Usan Tohoi - 4 days / 3 Night
Khar Usan Tohoi is located approximately 100km from Terelj Hotel. The camp is carefully chosen by us for its wilderness location, and for the unique insight that offers into Mongolia's natural environment. This place is very remote only way to reach this place is by horse.
- Arrival at Terelj Hotel.
- Professional guide and driver will pick up the guests from the hotel after their breakfast.
- After 4 hour horseback journey, guests will be served lunch outdoor.
- Next morning after the breakfast continue riding for 3 hours until reaching the Khar Usan Tohoi.
- After reaching the camp, guests will be accommodated in beautifully decorated traditional Mongolian ger (yurt) where they will be spending the night.
- Lunch will be served in the guest gers.
- After the well earned rests guests will have number of activities to choose from. The activities include:
- Mongolian archery session for target shooting
- Rifle firing session for target shooting
- Fishing
- Mongolian style dinner will be served in the evening.
- Next morning after the breakfast guests will ride back to the hotel.
- After 4 hour horseback journey, guests will be served lunch outdoor.
- After further 4 hour horseback journey to the hotel, guests will be served dinner and accommodated in comfortable tent where they will be spending the night.
- Next morning after the breakfast continue riding for 3 hours until reaching The Terelj Hotel.
